Planting Trees in Daejeon

On Saturday Adam and I headed out to the expanding edge of Daejeon to plant trees with the community there... Truly fun although we wished we had some clothing that identified us with Woosong, rather than the Hawaiian shirt and Football Jersey that we wore!

The thing started with a traditional .. well... something ;-)

Featuring that little kid and a small group of other kids. Then it was off to planting trees. After, we sat around and parents and their children (and in that order!) came up to us to say hello, ask us where we came from, and practice a bit of English.

A pretty good day, even though we got lost on our way over to the place

We plan to go back and check out the trees in a year or so.
